Sunday Supper from the Cutco Kitchen

Cast-Iron Skillet Steak

Cook a Perfect Steak in your Cast-Iron Skillet

For me, a good steak has to have the right amount of sear on the outside and be a perfect medium rare on the inside. I can usually achieve that balance on the grill, but cooking the perfect steak inside was always more of a challenge.

It turns out, a cast-iron skillet was the solution. Our Cast-Iron Skillet Steak recipe calls for using a smoking hot cast-iron skillet on the stove top to get a deep brown sear before placing it in the oven to finish cooking.

Steak Knife

What other food gets it's own knife? The Cutco Steak Knife lives up to its reputation of being big and bold. It's ready to tackle the thickest steaks and chops.

“I couldn't wait to get a good, thick steak to try this baby out on. It cuts deep, fast, precise and effortlessly using a light draw with slight pressure. This knife is a keeper and will last a lifetime with modest care.”
