Try Rhubarb in These Sweet & Tart Desserts

This week Cutco's home cook Barb has been cooking with rhubarb. It's one of those foods that is a vegetable, but is mostly used in desserts. In fact, it's often been called the "pie plant." Rhubarb adds a nice touch of tart to sweet dishes, like this recipe for Orange Rhubarb Bread.

Rhubarb always reminds me of my childhood. We had a few plants in our backyard and each summer my mother would use that rhubarb to make pie or a sauce that we would drizzle on ice cream or cake. It was a sure sign that summer had arrived.

9-3/4 inch Slicer

FEATURE
9-3/4" Slicer

Slicing bread, boneless ham and angel food cake was never so easy. The 9-3/4" Slicer glides as it cuts whether you're moving the knife forward, backward or straight down.

“There is something so completely satisfying about running this knife through a still warm cake, creating the perfectly smooth, flat surface needed to make flawless layers. This knife is long enough to do the job in a single uniform cut. Breads are handled with care and never squashed when this knife is used. Simply beautiful!”
